Having grown up in the mountains of Virginia, Gregory learned the value of hard work and doing things right early in life. At the age of 18 he decided to leave his small town and join the Navy as a Gas Turbine Electrician. While in the military he worked on ship generators, electric cables, sewage systems, HVAC, piping, water filtration/reverse osmosis systems & engines. He quickly became the "go to" technician on the ship anytime something had to be done right because of his ingenuity and great attention to detail. After 4 successful years he took a break from military life to acquire a Business Degree at the University of Oklahoma. This is where he first heard about the great state of Texas and wondered if he would ever have the chance to get there!
He decided to go back in the military and quickly became a respected leader and problem solver. There he met his wife and had his first child at which point he became a full time reservist and moved to South Florida.
Florida was a time of self discovery. He purchased a 40 year old home and began the process of flipping it. At the same time he discovered his passion for entrepreneurship when he opened and successfully ran his first business: a Landscaping company. This became the seeds that would later grow and spring forth Do It Right Home Inspections.
When he was called to serve away from home again, he made the bold move to relocate to Texas upon his return. In Cibolo he fell in love with Texas, its hospitality and its people. Ready to retire after a 20 year military career, he knew his technical & home improvement experience as well as his leadership skills fit well into the Home Inspection field. Going to school provided him with the opportunity to learn more about construction and the real estate industry. Using all the knowledge and skills he has acquired throughout his life, Gregory looks forward to every property he inspects by taking the same attention to detail and hardworking approach he learned in his military career.
During his free time Gregory enjoys spending time in the great Texas outdoors with his wife of over 14 years and his son.
